The message below indicates the MISL policy relating to games scheduled when weather conditions are questionable:

The MISL advises that when faced with inclement weather, the decision to travel to any game ultimately lays with the members of the participating teams. The MISL does not expect anyone to make an attempt to travel to a game if they are uncomfortable with the travel conditions. We request that a team representative notify the MISL by phone (876-1508 or 802-7292) that that team will not be arriving to play the scheduled game. During evenings and weekends, E-Mails and messages left on the MISL Office Phone will not help. Please assist us by using the numbers provided above. (The 876-1508 # is only answered when MISL staff are present during scheduled games - the 802-7292 # is our On-Call phone ).

The MISL will post the cancellation of a game or games when a facility advises the MISL that due to weather or any other reason, they will be closing the facility. These messages will appear on the Home Page of the MISL Website and on the Voice Message on the MISL Office Phone (902-443-5185) as soon as we are notified.
