H1N1 Defaults

If a coach is unable to field a team due to suspected or confirmed cases of H1N1 flu, we ask that teams use the following protocol:

1) the team is to immediately notify the opposing team utilizing the  information from the "Coaching Staff" button available on the individual team pages on the MISL site

2) each team must upload contact information for at least one team official

3) also, the team is to notify the MISL immediately of the cancellation using the information available on the MISL Home Page Ticker (Use On-Call Cell #) 802-7292

The game will be entered as a "Game-Not-Played", with no points being awarded to either team; in effect, a 'no-fault default'.
 
If, at the end of the season, we have enough time (remaining snow days) to make up these games, we will; otherwise, they essentially will not count toward the final standings.
 
The MISL feels that this policy is necessary to be fair to families during this health crisis, and discourage symptomatic players from attending.
